Couture Applique Patch
My incredible couture applique patches are now for sale - yippeee
A little backstory: In Spring of 2023 I was commissioned by Manchester Art Gallery to design and make some applique patches to complement their Exhibition 'Unpicking Couture' and sell in their shop - thrilling commission.
Originally exclusive to their store (and sold out within days before having to re-stock) I'm now thrilled to say, I'm selling them in my own shop! The patches are made entirely from the offcuts I've accumulated: beautiful silk, tulle, beaded / sequinned textiles that I've gathering in my sustainable path to repurposing.
The teeny tiny pieces have been gathered into the most beautiful patches, for you to use on your own favourite, jacket / trousers / bag or cushion. The choice is yours.
If you love to doll up your clothing, or want to cover a stain or a stitched hole, then these are the patches for you. Each one is unique due to how the metal leaf lays on the textile, and from then the selction of sequinned offcut or luxurious fabric used to make each patch.
A sell in single patches or pairs of patches, but please do ask if you have any questions / queries.
